How do I restore wood floors in a commercial facility?
1. Make sure to document all of the damages before anything is removed. In most cases when wood floors buckle and start to pop they will have to be removed and the concrete below will have to be dried before the rebuild can happen.
2. Start the drying process once all of the standing water is removed. This can include running a commercial desiccant and lots of air movers.
3. Once all of the reports are registered as dry, the rebuild process can begin. It is critical to make sure all of the structure is dry, so secondary damages like mold do not happen.
