Mold Damage – Buford Home
Mold damage at this Buford home was the result of a leaky pipe behind the wall. The area of wall affected had been concealed by a large piece of furniture, so it went undetected for some time. The homeowner did not discover the mold damage until the musty odor of mold became apparent. The infestation of mold had existed long enough that it necessitated removing a section of drywall and a portion of the floor that had been involved. The first thing we did was set up a containment area top prevent the mold spores from traveling through the house. We then did the demolition work and treated the wall studs by cleaning and sanding where necessary. The after photo shows the project completed with new drywall and baseboard.
