How do I prevent mold from happening after a water loss?

If you experience a water loss it is important to follow the recommended steps. 

1. Contact SERVPRO immediately to begin the restoration process. They will have a team of trained professionals on site immediately. 

2. Start extracting all standing water. Mold typically forms when water and moisture is sitting for too long. SERVPRO has the equipment and training to handle any size water loss from start to finish. 

3. Once water is extracted, begin the drying process. Most larger jobs, climate control will be extremely important to prevent mold from growing.
